Myakka River RV Resort puts you right on the water in North Port, with 81 full-hookup sites, pull-throughs available, and Myakka River State Park spilling into your backyard. The Gulf Coast beaches are a short drive west, the river is right outside, and the sunshine is pretty much guaranteed. However long you’re staying, you picked a good spot.
What You Need to Know Before You Book
Every site comes with full hookups, 30/50-amp electric service, city water and sewer, and a picnic table. Pull-throughs are available if you prefer, and if you’re traveling with a big rig, you’re in good shape here too! We have no RV age limits, large sites, and plenty of room to maneuver throughout the park.
Our location is really where the park shines. When you stay with us, you’re on the banks of the Myakka River, Florida’s first state-designated wild and scenic river, with Myakka River State Park next door. On any given day you could be kayaking through cypress-lined waterways, hiking across rare Florida dry prairie, watching roseate spoonbills wade through the shallows, or hopping an airboat tour into the backcountry. If you’d rather stay put, riverfront fishing is right here on property and not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
When you’re ready to venture further out, you’re in a great spot for that too. Venice is just south with Gulf beaches and some of the best shark tooth hunting on the coast. Sarasota is up the road with great dining, the Ringling Museum, and Siesta Key. North Port has everything you need for daily life and a food scene that keeps growing. Explore more of what’s nearby.
Back at camp, we have you covered with amenities like a heated pool, dog park, pavilion, BBQ grills, on-site laundry, and high-speed WiFi throughout. Cable TV is also available for a fee and firewood and ice are sold on site.
